Legal Holes
Did you know that Spyderco has protected the round hole in knife blades used to open them with a "mine field intellectual property"? That means that a knife brand can't just throw a hole in the blade without first dealing with some legal stuff.
Patent lawyer Lou "Lawyer Lou" Franco explains.
This would be a good time to get some popcorn. This is gonna be good!
Lander 5 is Alive!
If the bird is the word, then Lander 5 is alive - and boy, oh boy is it alive and kickin'.
Launched last week on Kickstarter, the L5 is our affordable entry into our Lander line. Boyscout Ben found a place in the Lander lineup to introduce a knife that almost anyone could get their hands on - because it's only $25.
You can get yours here.
Also, while you're scoring your Lander 5, be sure to check out some of the available add-ons like the Bit Driver Grande and Sancho Pry Bar.
Look at that Fancy Boi!
We like to kick things up a notch from time to time around the Knafs compound. You all loved the Bougie Banter - now we hope you love the Yipper Fancy Boi!

- Jon-Erik LOVES serrations - Ben doesn't!
About Serrations...
There have been years and years of back-and-forth about serrations on knives. Do we need them? Are they just annoying? Comment below and let us know what you think about serrations.

RotoSelect
You all know how much we love mail - and our friend Julian must have been listening. Words won't do justice to what he sent us, but it is insanely epic.
You can back it here.
Send Us Some Stuff!
We love getting mail here at the office. So, if you've got something weird and wild you want to send us - direct it here:

Fresh Prints
3D printing has evolved so much in the last few years that it's almost crazy what we can do with it. This week's theme? Illumination.
Gooey Louie
What episode would be complete without a little snacky poo? Well, this week we're eating Gooey Louie Butter Cakes. They're a St. Louis treat, and now everyone is going to want one!
Boom. Done!
There you have it! We really hope you got everything you expected and then some from this episode of Knafs@Nite. Big shout out to our favorite patent lawyer, Lou Franco for shedding some light on some of the complexities of the knife worlds.
Make sure to subscribe to our channel on YouTube so you don't miss anything coming out of the world of Knafs!
See you next time!

Serrated blades are the best for rope and how about steak knives. Lastly a good bread knife has no point but just works serrated.✌️
