The King of Knives!We have questions?

Hello Everyone and welcome to the latest episode of Knafs@Nite - our weekly video round-up where we share with you all the exciting things about Knafs and the world around us.

Ben and Austin are back with a bunch of great stuff to share - so, let's dig in!

The News

The Portland Knife Center of Excellence

This is what happens when Oregon's premier knife manufacturers get together and form a group whose sole focus is the awesome aspects of knives.

Who are these brands, you ask?

... And they've got some cool plans for Portland, knives, education, and beyond!

This all leads Ben into some knife nerd zen and we get an inside peek at how his brain works. It's pretty awesome. And so is Austin's shirt which looks like a Knafs deep cut.

BIGiDESIGN

Our buddies at BIGiDESIGN have a new Kickstarter campaign running for a new and awesome pen for you to add to your collection of hopefully awesome pens.

This is NOT a Plug!

Lander 4 Kickstarter
Tomorrow is your last chance to score the Lander 4 through Kickstarter. If you're not already convinced how epic these knives are going to be, Ben shares a look at the final prototypes of each style (stop drooling).

Moon Crew Moment

100,000 Lander 4 Backers!

Wayne Jenkins put us over 100,000 backer mark so we wanted to send him a virtual high-five as our way of saying thanks!

Spanish Speaker Pocket Dump

Carlos shares his thoughts on his lander - as well as the cool tools her carries in his pocket.

Semi-Auto Lander 2

Peter Kessenich found an Easter Egg with his Lander 2!

If you want to be part of our “Moon Crew”, head right here to join up!

Ship Shape Sharpening Shop

This is a spot where Ben gets to show off the knives that come to Knafs for TLC. Every week is wilder than the last. It’s a great opportunity to see what people covet and what they want to be resharpened and cleaned up by the knife maintenance gnomes here at Knafs.

Edge of Intelligence

Our social feeds have been filled with rendered images of our space kitty crew since we featured it a couple of weeks ago, have yours? This weeks AI prompt might change all of that.

We won't totally spill the beans here - but let's just say that if 90's hip hop ever makes a comeback, Austin is going to make a drastic career change.

Mailbox

We love getting mail here at the office. So, if you've got something weird and wild you want to send us direct it here:

@BackcountryExposure Supports Kickstarter

Devon waxes poetic about Kickstarter.

@ShawneeUnion May Just Want a Blade

This is actually wicked interesting and not a bad idea. But, there are hurdles.

@Anamae5451 Wants Premium

MangaCut is the IT steel right now, but it's not as easy to get as you may think.

@cylentone Wants a Taco!

Don't we all? Also, look for a great mention about Ocaso Knives.

Andrew is All About New Competition

Previously, we talked about new knife makers popping up on YouTube. Andrew from Kershaw weighs in.

@CuttingBoardRx Has a Theory

This one is a pretty deep thought regarding intellectual property.

Field Trip

When he was overseas, Ben went to the Kizer factory to work on the Lander 4 and then some. Ben talks about processes and production.

Fun Fact: Did you know that in China people eat small, seemingly dehydrated seeded-pears as their road trip snack?

Bottom Of The Barrel

What’s the worst seller of the week in the Knafs lineup? We only sell the things we think you want and need, but some of them ebb and flow.

This weeks product are the Knafs X Barnescraft Redstone Richlite Lander 1 Scales. These scales are made by our buddy Holden at Barnsecraft EDC in small batches - so each one is a little different. But they're all awesome.

Fresh Prints

Stacking Trays
Desk organization is EVERYTHING. We stole these stacking trays off of Fitz' desk because we were so amped up about the possibilities in all the things they can hold.
Corn Scales

One of our stretch goals for the Lander 4 was corn scales. Yes, corn scales. We've been printing these non-stop. So much so that we're burning candles and incense around the office to balance the rich smells that 3D printing provides.

Hint: it does not smell like corn.

Boom. Done!

There have you it! We really hope you got everything you expected and then some from this episode of Knafs@Nite. Make sure to subscribe to our channel on YouTube so you don't miss anything come out of the world of Knafs!

See you next time!
