Ben with the Sancho Pen

Hello Everyone and welcome to the latest episode of Knafs@Nite - our weekly video round-up where we share with you all the exciting things about Knafs and the world around us.

Did you miss us? WE'RE BACK!!!!!

We took last week off to focus on the Sancho Pen. Which we'll talk about more in this week's episode, but you can back here

Knews

Ben changed is EDC!

Ben LOVES the BIC Cristal pen, but he wanted more. HE NEEDED MORE. So he built the better pen - that uses the BIC Cristal insert.

Hello world - welcome to the Sancho Pen!
FUN FACT: No one really knows how old Ben is. However, he's been using the BIC Cristal since middle school! So, not only is this pen going to be great for all of you - but this is a watershed moment for our buddy here.
Happy Birthday, Bob!

If you don't know who Bob Terzuola is, we recommend you stop reading this - head over here - drool a bit - compose yourself, and then come back and venture on.

HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY, BOB!

Your influence on the knife world and all of us in it has been second to none.

Joe The Reaper sent us some gifts!

But these gifts aren't for us - they're for you. Sign up for our weekly newsletter and be entered to win a Lander 1, and this pot of goodies from Joe.

Banter 2

We took some of your feedback about our Banter and are releasing the sequel!

The original Banter was supposed to come with a crossbar lock, but at the time the world wasn't ready for that. So, the Banter 2 comes with a crossbar lock - but there's so much more!

BBFB!

We love all of our knives, but the Baby Banter has always held a special place in our hearts. It's smaller, which makes it more accessible, but it doesn't lack any potency due to it's stature.

That said, we're launching the full-tang fixed blade version.

Be on the lookout for the Baby Banter Fixed Blade, coming soon!

Lasers In The Desert

Another great addition to the Lander 2 family is the new and awesome Desert Horizon variant.

Designed by our friend Alan from Mountain Path Design, the DH features custom laser engraved G10 scales and pocket clip.

Mail Bag Moment

Jerry wants to know why the Lander 3 doesn't have any jimping. Which brings up why Ben hates jimping. Well, he doesn't! We'll let him explain.

Austin also explains how he feels about jimping and further proves that he is Knafs Yoda. The guy just has knowledge. And it's that kind of knowledge that you usually only get from sitting around and watching tv with someone for like 4 hours on a rainy Saturday. He needs to write this stuff down.

Moon Crew Moment

Chase makes washers

Chase Karchewski is a talented machinist. Not a fan of ballbearings, Chase machined his own washers for the Lander 3. No doubt his jimping skills are pro-level.

AP names her Sendy

We would like to officially welcome AP Vibez and Celine to the Moon Crew! Celine is AP's Sendy and it's totally awesome that she's named her knife after Celine Dion!

Fun Fact: Jamie, who is off-screen for all of these videos, used to be a cabaret singer in Las Vegas. Ben, hoping to meet Wayne Newton, met Jamie instead and brought him into the Knafs fold. We might be misremember some of the facts a little bit.

Jon takes the Lulu sheath into the stratosphere

We've got a lot of love for Kydex sheaths, but nothing beats a custom leather sheath. Jon Felker had a custom, in pocket, leather sheath made for his Lulu and now we all want one.

If you want to be part of our “Moon Crew”, head right here to join up!

Ship Shape Sharpening Shop

This is a spot where Ben gets to show off the knives that come to Knafs for TLC. Every week is wilder than the last. Sometimes we even get to see Keith, our resident sharpening willard. This is a great opportunity to see what people covet and what they want to be resharpened and cleaned up by the knife maintenance gnomes here at Knafs.

Edge of Intelligence

Our buddy Sam dives into the world of AI for us - and it gets WICKED tactical. It brings to question - how much is too much? Like a double watch? Hmm.

Mailbox

How do we decide what knives fall under what brand?
Well, Dylan, do you have a Magic 8 Ball? Hahah. We're kidding. Ben explains how we pick who makes what.
Apologies to Grampa Bob
Austin referred to the Nintendo Wii as "vintage" and, well - he's not changing his mind.

Send Us Some Stuff!

We love getting mail here at the office. So, if you've got something weird and wild you want to send us direct it here:

Also, Ben shares some of his other worldly treasures that he brought back. As well as the time he spent with Dutch Bushcraft Knives.

Bottom Of The Barrel

This week's product is our Aluminum Ruler + Knife Angle Finder.
Ben's first kickstarter in 2020, this tool has been in our lineup ever since, and we're pretty partial to it in the office.
