In fact, true story: Ben's first knife as an 8-year-old kid was this ridiculous double edged dagger with nasty serrations. You see, his grandpa promised the kids on a fishing trip that he'd let them pick out a knife if they caught a fish. Ben caught one, and you can bet your boots he picked out the meanest-looking fixed blade in the display case. Fishing and knives just go together, even if it's a simple knife like the Lander 2 instead of a ferocious fixed blade. Enjoy!

G10 scales are popular for knives because they are a lightweight, durable material that's resistant to wear. G10 is a composite material made from fiberglass sheets and epoxy resin that are pressed together, heated, dried, then UV printed with our sweet designs. Eventually they will wear, but that's just part of the badge of honor of a well-used knife.

UV scales are a high-quality print that allows us to use bright and bold colors in our designs. It is resistant to fading; however, UV printed scales chip as you use them due to normal wear and tear. If a knife arrives damaged our top-tier customer service team will take care of you. However, any chipping due to normal use we do not cover.
