I heard a guy say once, "I crushed my bearings while reassembling my knife." Real talk: I didn't know that was even possible. I mean, lose them to the depths of the couch, sure. But crush them? Sounds... violent. Anyway, we're not hear to point fingers or cast blame or judge. The reality is, you're reading a product description for a replacement bearing for your Lander. We don't know why you're here. Truly. But we feel for you. No one orders new bearings without having seen some... stuff.
These are the exact bearings that ship with the Landers. What size are they? 7.5 mm in diameter with a 4.4 mm diameter hole. But so help me, if you try to replace these with Skiff bearings and ruin your knife, I'm taking you off the Christmas card list and I'm not calling on your birthday anymore.
We recommend keeping your pivot lubed with knife lube.
Also, if you're replacing a bearing, you probably should add a drop of Blue Threadlocker to the screw threads when reassembling your knife. This will prevent your screws from sneakily escaping into the abyss underneath your kitchen stove.
