THE Lander 2 Clip Point

This is the nostalgic design package of the ever-popular Lander 2. Featuring a new clip point blade shape, gold thumb stud, and paper micarta handles. You can bet it still features that S35VN steel and a clutch lock.

If this knife evokes feelings of Grandpa's farm, the rancher's lifestyle, the true working man's tool, then we'll have done our job. This is for the ones who aren't afraid to get a little dusty and find satisfaction in a job well done.

The clip point blade design is complemented by a two tone finish. One part is stonewashed and the other is a belt satin finish, giving a point of interest to the blade that complements that gorgeous clip point design.

This is our first knife with polished hardware, and is also our first with paper micarta handles. Paper micarta differs from regular micarta in a few key ways, but here are the things you need to know: it's extra durable, lightweight, gives a good grip, and it also patinas beautifully. Because paper micarta is made from composites of different organic material, each handle is going to have a unique look which means no two knives will look the same. This isn't a manufacturing error, this is paper micarta living its best life.

While this knife is taking you into the past on Grandpa's ranch, this is still the same great Lander 2 that we used to shoot for the moon. The Lander 2 features fast swap, open source scales, a clutch lock, and S35VN steel. We think of the Lander 2 like Apollo 12. You see, Apollo 11 sent the first humans to the moon. But Apollo 12 was the mission that proved Apollo 11 wasn't a fluke or anomaly. NASA did it smoother the second time, proving consistency and repeatability. That's what the Lander 2 is all about: do it again, but better.

Great knife totally combines a love of traditional looking knives with (knafs) excellent modern execution. It’s my second lander 2. I would get one in a heart beat if they did a clip point lander 3.

Can't put it down! Been in my pocket since I got it I love it.

PAPER MICARTA HANDLE

Because paper micarta is made from composites of different organic material, each handle is going to have a unique look which means no two knives will look the same. This isn't a manufacturing error, this is paper micarta living its best life.

S35VN steel

S35VN has been widely adopted as a common steel by a multitude of knife brands because it’s well-balanced. It does a great job at resisting corrosion, it’s tough and abrasion-resistant, and it holds a good edge. It’s also easy to sharpen.
